: Tuscany Mural

This beautiful mural was done for a showroom in a furniture store in the basement . There were no windows and the Tuscan Mural brought some light and life to the space.

Basically every room which is dark, has only small windows or is too small can be lightened up with a mural.

The faux finished arch and the balcony create an extra space which is creating the illusion of being able to walk outside.

You don’t need to be an Italy fan for such a mural. It can be done in less than 2 weeks.

This table is a Must See indeed!

I restored this table made out of solid wood and decided to give it a very special look. I chose the legendary and beautiful French Fleur den Lyss symbol and hand painted it in the middle of the table.

The table has 2 extension leaves.

This cute bird’s nest is in the guestroom of a private home in Pacific Palisades.

It would look nice in a children’s bedroom, a nursery or a bathroom.
The nest is surrounded by white flowers which are growing down the door frame.

This breath taking mural is in the basement of a private resicende in Granada Hills and is on the opposite side of the wine cellar. The walls are faux finished and add a nice rustique look to the staircase which is leading down to the wine cellar.

In-midst a French old world landscape the angel has no intentions, no interference – it is pure - it is a forgotten part of a world which was full of detail, romance and love.

Faux Finishes are not out!
If you might have thought that this traditional wall finish is not trendy any more, you must know that it is still an option to bring life into your home.
I have done many faux finishes in homes which were completely white. All the walls. The hallway, the bathrooms – white, white, white with no contrast at all.

For a mansion in Bel Air I faux finishes these 3 niches in the hallway and added French style ornamental drawings inside.
