Mural Info
Last modified: May 13, 2010How does it work
1. Receive an estimate.
Gabrielle needs the size of the walls and what kind of design you would like in order to provide you with the right estimate. Her estimates are per project and include everything. Little projects or repair jobs will be estimated with an hourly or daily rate depending on the kind of work to do.
2. Designing
If you want Gabrielle to design the mural for you she is asking $300 up-front which will be included in the overall amount for the mural (in case Gabrielle is doing the project).
3. Faux Finished Walls
Some Old World style Murals require a faux finished background. The walls need to be painted by a painter in the appropiate color for the Faux Finish. Faux Finishes are between $15-$25 per SF.
4. Painting the Mural
After the design has been approved the painting process starts. An up-front payment of 50 percent is required for every project above $1000.
5. Working process
Gabrielle works very close with her clients and is encouraging them to “participate”. This means her clients can tell her what colors they like and other little details which might be important to add during the painting process. This does not include any design changes.
6. Completion
After the mural is completed the remaining amount is due and the client has the chance to get minor corrections done within 24 hours. Any demanded corrections afterwards are not part of the project anymore.
