The window you see on the left wall next to the ivy is hand painted, the ivy too. It’s a trompe l’oeil mural which is French and means it is tricking the eye. The owl sitting in front of the window is painted of course too. It is possible to do a whole facade with windows, doors and greenery. If you ahve an out-door facade which has no windows send an email and we we can change this – it is cheaper than to built in real windows.
The upper part of the wall is the continuation of a tropical wall mural on the adjacent wall. I painted a parrot and some top leaves of palm trees which are complementing the other mural nicely.

Ornamental Painting on a wooden floor all around the room; here a kitchen in Country style.
The paint is durable, and will not come off during floor cleaning. Good sealing of the painting will prevent this.
The original floor was an old oak parquet floor which did not match the overall style of the home.
To paint the floor was a good solution. Everything is possible.

Birch tree mural for a hallway in Altadena
The group of birch trees was a good choice for the hallway with high ceilings. I did the mural for a charming home in Altadena.
My client also wanted to have some of the local parrots in the mural. These parrots are flying around in the area and take often a rest on their trees in the garden and neighborhood. The green and red colored parrots were kept in a pet store many, many years ago and could escape because of a fire. Since then they continued to live a happy life  in the “local wildernes” of Pasadena and Altadena.
I added 3 parrots to the mural, one is flying on the opposite wall.

Nursery Mural with a whimsical tree and monkeys
I did this whimsical mural for a nursery in a home of the famous Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles.
The walls were painted in a vibrant canary yellow, the tree itself in a warm brown with colorful leaves of purple, yellow, orange, green and blue.
The branches curl at the ends and the horizon line gives the imagination of an ocean far away.
On the opposite wall we decided to add 2 monkeys, cheerful and playing. A friend who visited my clients while I was painting said, that you never can be unhappy in such a room. And she was right, the mural added so much happiness to the room – together with my clients we created a very warm welcome for the baby.
Who would not want that?

Vineyard Mural for a small room
What do you do with a wall of 4 by 5 feet size which is the back wall of a closet?
You can paint it green or white or get it tiled or faux finished. But this would not make the room look bigger.
The vineyard with a path between the vines will add an optical illusion.

This beautiful pastell colored beach mural was done for a cute little girl.
It was going around all four walls and has an umbrella, a sand castle, a surf board and palm trees.
Isn’t it charming? A beach mural is very fun for children and a very cute theme. It can be combined with almost every furniture color.
