Enchanted Forest - Mural for Childrens Bedrooms

The Enchanted Forest is a very special mural that I did for the playroom of a private residence in Canyon Country, CA.

The room was an attic and had many corners and slanted ceilings. First we painted the upper wall space in a very light blue which was the “sky” – the lower wall space was painted in a very light green, and this was an ideal background color for the actual mural.

The moose is my favorite, but the two bears are also very cute. The mural added so much life to the room and is indeed the cutest one I have ever done.

Beach Mural for a Nursery

The mural had been done all around the room and included the ceiling too.

The sand castle, dolphins, palm trees and an umbrella in the corner changed the baby room into a wonderful beach scene.

: Tropical Rainforest

I did this mural on a door which was the entracne to a store. The store sold reptile food and all kind of exotic animals.

As you can see the entrance is completely covered by the mural. Even the door handle is included; a scorpion sits on it.

Quite a while after the mural was finished, there was a robbery nearby and several stores got broken into. Not the one whith the mural though. The robbers could not see the entrance!

Charlie Chaplin Mural – A Hollywood Legend

Charlie Chaplin was one of the greatest Hollywood Stars. At a time when sound was not an option in the movies, and where black and white were the only colors, his artistic abilities were indeed outstanding.

It was an honor and a pleasure to paint him in life size as a mural amongst other Hollywood stars like Marilyn Monroe and James Dean.

The mural is from a scene of the movie “Goldrush”. I am not sure if this is the movie where he ate a sole of a shoe instead of a steak…?

Kids Jungle Mural

I did this mural for a nursery and my clients found the template on muralsforkids.com as wall paper but they wanted a “real” mural and hired me.

The jeep driver is a sweet monkey and because he is racing sometimes, his friend the gorilla, needed to wear glasses.

The Zebra is a bit freaked out because of the high speed but the Giraffe just loves it! The snake is having fun in the front. What a fun mural!

She is unforgettable, she was one of the greatest actresses this world had ever seen – Marylin Monroe.

Some time ago I was asked to paint some Hollywood stars in life size on a wall for an office. We painted James Dean, Charlie Chaplin, Humphrey Bogart and Marilyn.

The mural can also be seen in a book called “Marilyn in Art”.

Circus Mural

This happy circus mural used to be in the Burbank mall in a child day center before the Army made a recruiting office out of the space.
Of course they did not keep the mural but the walls are not camoflashed either…

I created this mural in the evenings after the business hours when all the kids where gone.

Well, it is gone and many kids and parents could enjoy it.
