French style Stencil for dining room ceiling
The background of this ceiling is a very special wall finish which feels like velvet.
It needs a very smooth surface (Level 5) and a special underground paint which will absorb the top coat. The top coat is a thick paste (almost like a plaster) which will be added with a trowel or spatula.
My client liked an ornate stencil for each corner which adds a very classy and stylish touch to the dining room.

Nursery Mural
Karyssa’s bed is surrounded by many roses and butterflies – this romantic nursery mural is located in Granada Hills and I did it for a young couple who expected their first baby.
The name sign is hand painted; the roses are rather old fashioned and would also fit as well into a French country styled home.
The alternative to wall paper: Hand painted wall paper with roses, if you like floral art and want to add something special to your home.

French Design on a Ceiling
This Design is so French as it can get. My client’s home was throughout decorated in French style and when the dining area was remodelled they installed a sort of cathedral ceiling.Â
Without the faux finished background and the design the four parts of the ceiling were not visible at all.Â
I choose gold and copper for the ornamental painting and a very subtle faux finish in the brownish tone of the adjacent walls. It looks awesome with the crystal chandelier in the middle.
