- Tropical Rainforest
I did this mural on a door which was the entracne to a store. The store sold reptile food and all kind of exotic animals.
As you can see the entrance is completely covered by the mural. Even the door handle is included; a scorpion sits on it.
Quite a while after the mural was finished, there was a robbery nearby and several stores got broken into. Not the one whith the mural though. The robbers could not see the entrance!
That’s how a mural can get also some functional purpose. If you like a mural for your commercial space call 818 470 2932 for an estimate.

- Pomme granate tree
This pommegranate tree is part of abig mural in the hallway of a Bel Air residence.
It was done completely in Old World style, featuring an Italian landscape, trees, cypresses, lemons, grapes and flowers.
The background is like a faux finish, sublte colors and fading. It reminds of the Da Vinci times when the world was calmer and more relaxed.

- Wine Cellar Door
This breath taking mural is in the basement of a private resicende in Granada Hills and is on the opposite side of the wine cellar. The walls are faux finished and add a nice rustique look to the staircase which is leading down to the wine cellar.
Yes, it is painted!

French Design on a Ceiling
This Design is so French as it can get. My client’s home was throughout decorated in French style and when the dining area was remodelled they installed a sort of cathedral ceiling.
Without the faux finished background and the design the four parts of the ceiling were not visible at all.
I choose gold and copper for the ornamental painting and a very subtle faux finish in the brownish tone of the adjacent walls. It looks awesome with the crystal chandelier in the middle.

Antique scroll Mural
This is a hand painted antique scroll on papyrus. The paper is not real paper, I faux finished the texture, so it is all painted! My client gave me some quotes she liked which were rounding up the whole mural.
The mural is in the entry way on a wall which connects kitchen and living room.

- faux reiling

What do you do when everything in your home had been painted white? There is no contrast, it looks sterile and needs some color. Faux finish the reiling and give it an espresso brown wooden look as I did in a home in Granada Hills.

- Hallway Old World Mural
Beautiful Old World style Mural for an entryway in private residence of Pacific Palisades.
First I did a faux finish, then added the pomegranate tree and finally the vines with two humming birds.
The entry way corner is now the focal point of the whole downstairs area. The mural is enhancing the space and created some old world charme.
