About The Artist

Gabrielle Utz, artist
Gabrielle Utz is originally from Germany, and grew up in a family of artisans. Gabrielle started her artistic career first as a writer.
In the 90s she published seven books for a German publisher, but it was in 1994 when she finally started to take up the visual art because it always had been a dream to be a full-time visual artist. As many famous artists (Picasso, Van Gogh, Dali) Gabrielle taught herself how to paint. In Switzerland she participated very successfully in several art projects, like the cows you had seen in Chicago and New York.
Gabrielle did many paintings in oil and acrylics on canvas at first before she decided to deliver customized art (murals and art commissions) to the public.
Since 1999 Gabrielle works as a professional artist and has done so far many murals for small and big residences and commercial spaces such as offices, restaurants and schools.
The artist moved to Los Angeles in 2006.
Her art-work is breath-taking, and inspiring; it brings aesthetics into every space.
